I pulled into Statesville and got to see Meg and Brett and little Ashley. She has gotten so big and was super cute.
My plans got a little mixed up and the next thing I knew, I was driving North to West Virginia to visit my friend Ryan. The drive was so pretty, winding roads through the mountains. My visit was short and I dreaded getting back in the car yesterday, but started my way North to Newport. It took forever and I made a pit stop in Pelham Manor, New York to visit my friend Finola. The flowers were all blooming in her neighborhood, at the end of the street, there was the brightest blue bunch of hydrangeas on a bush, they looked so pretty, love hydrangeas.
On the road again, I pulled into Newport around 11:30pm. I couldn't believe it when I saw the Newport bridge, all lit up, welcoming me back! I am only here for a little bit this year, but have some trunk shows and appointments. So, I will keep everyone posted on my progress.
