With the Fall television season about to start, I am very hopeful that some of the new shows will not only be good, but that the TV executives think they are good enough to last more than a few episodes! Here are a few that look interesting:
The Good Wife- Mr. Big and Carol from ER, what a great team...an Eliot Spitzer-type story.
Cougartown-the lovely Monica from Friends is on another show..this one looks pretty funny and Busy Phillips from Dawson's Creek has surfaced! (she is on the right)
A Beautiful Life-produced by Ashton Kutcher follows two models around as they are swept up in the fashion business. Elle MacPherson plays the modeling agency's boss and Mischa Barton plays a part as well.
Let's hope they don't end up where these shows did-the dreaded Friday night time slot before they get CANCELLED! I am starting to think it is a good idea to Tivo all the new shows, wait about 6 weeks, then start watching them if they have made it that far. There is nothing more annoying than to get hooked on a new show and then have it just disappear into thin air!!!!
Like these did.....
Relativity with Kimberly Williams and David Conrad
Once and Again with Sela Ward and Billy Campbell
Cashmere Mafia-I liked this as much as Lipstick Jungle, it was funny and had a great cast.
What about Brian?- I LOVED this show..so annoying it didn't last!
Big Shots-the same season as Cashmere Mafia..it was so funny and smart, I am not even sure it lasted the whole season!
October Road- now we will never know if he was the father...just plain mean.
Miss Match-the cutest show with Alicia Silverstone who can't help herself from matchmaking.
CPW (Central Park West) a show about a modeling agency from the creater of Melrose Place. Mariel Hemingway was the star..this did not last long, but was juicy!
I didn't list Lipstick Jungle and Dirty Sexy Money because I am probably the most upset that these two amazing shows, with plenty of fans, were not able to make it.
Am I missing any other shows???
