Hopsy's big Tag Post has finally reached me..via The Queen aka Queen Bee Swain. So fun to read about fellow bloggers!

Favorite color: pink (my go-to), light blue and white.

Favorite Brands/Designers: Gap, Calypso and Banana Republic with a little Tory Burch mixed in. Also gold Jack Rogers that barely leave my feet all year long.

Favorite Restaurant: Macalusos on Miami Beach (for meatballs and Macalusos salad), Clarke Cooke House (classic Newport) and Solano Prado (delicious Mexican) in Newport, RI, Granddaddys BBQ (delicious) in Thomasville, GA and Fred's (celeb spotting) and Le Bilboquet (cajun chicken and celeb spotting) in NYC. RIP Beverly Hills Cafe in South Miami, my old staple since skipping school in high school for lunch right up till they closed it down last year..best salads, large refillable diet cokes and the most scrumptious unlimited rolls you could ever taste.

Hobbies: so many..reading, needlepoint, scrapbooking, reading magazines (literally every magazine around), blogging, traveling and of course, making jewelry.

Favorite thing about yourself: the ability to keep up with a large group of friends and sustain meaningful relationships with all of them. It also amuses me that I have become some sort of therapist for a few lucky friends...no formal training of course, just lots of street smarts and years of Young and the Restless "therapy" to go by.

What does your room look like (color scheme, theme, etc.):
Hmmm..a work in progress. Pale blue walls, white curtains, one wall entirely mirrored (I was horrified at first, but now love having a wall of full length mirrors), white bedding with pale blue European shams I got at the Matouk outlet (want to monogram but cannot decide on a style), big pine dresser and lots of blue and white china lamps, ginger jars and such.

If you could have dinner with 2 people (dead or alive) who would they be:
Two separate dinners...one with Jackie Kennedy and then another dinner with my Grandfather that I never knew (Gramps). He is the one wearing the salmon jacket and paisley pants.

What is your next “big splurge”: Well, I would love to say a new fancy purse, but realistically-Newport. Without even trying, you can spend quite a bit of money just living there, never mind shopping in the cutest stores, eating in the yummiest restarurants and going out at night. So, I have been saving up.

What is your favorite joke, quote, or saying: “Nothing stirs a creative mind more than empty pockets"

Anything else you would like us to know about you (random fact)!?
Honestly, I feel like I tell all my secrets on this blog..and am one of the only ones that isn't anonymous! A random fact..in college, my friend Christy got me hooked on collecting Absolut Vodka ads. I became so obsessed with getting them, I even swiped a few out of magazines from the University of Florida library (sorry?). They hung on our wall in our apartment and I kept collecting for a few years (I had over 150)... Christy moved on and sent me her collection and now I have all of them stashed under my bed and can't bear to throw them away. If anyone wants them..I will gladly send them to you!!!
