Birthday Trip to NYC

My birthday trip was fabulous.. I am so tired and still full from all the eating. Not sure if I have ever eaten in a string of amazing restaurants before like this trip.. Nobu, Felidia, Nello, Mama Mexico, Fred's and Buddakan all in less than 3 days! All my worlds collided with friends from Miami, North Carolina, Boston, Newport and New York all celebrating in one place.

Thursday, I arrived and hung out with Lisa and Nicole..lunch at Nobu followed by nails at Lisa's local place in Tribeca. This is where we had a Christy Turlington (and daughter Grace) sighting not too long ago, so I was on alert the entire time. Dinner that night with Brooke, Helen, Finola and their Mom at Felidia. I am not familiar with Lidia Bastianich..but she was standing there when we walked in and I thought my peeps were going to have a heart attack!! The food was delicious, very authentic Italian.

Meg and Heather arrived early Friday morning and we set out to American Girl and lunch at Nello. The people watching was fabulous-we actually saw someone from Miami there. Rockefeller Center was next and then we headed downtown on the subway to Soho/West Village.

at Magnolia Cupcakes

By dinner, most of the girls had arrived at the Waldorf..we set off for yummy Mexican. It was so cold outside but the margaritas warmed everyone up. Dinner was was fun introducing my different friends to each other.

After dinner, we headed to the fun bar at the W Hotel. It was packed with beautiful people..we managed to get a round booth and ordered cocktails. We stayed out late..

More pics tomorrow...I couldn't find my camera battery charger before I left, so I am relying on my friends' pictures. I am waiting for more to come!
