The past few weeks, I have been bracing for onslaught of holiday shows that are starting. It is always a fun time, lots of sales but that means lots of hours on my couch with tools. This year, there are more shows than ever and I have tried to sign up for as many as possible.
This weekend, I am traveling to Baltimore for a trunk show at my friend Hoby's Mom's house. I had a trunk show at her house when I first started my business and it was so much fun. This weekend will be filled with trips to Grauls Market, Berger cookies, The Legacy Chase at Shawan Downs and our trunk show on Sunday. Can't wait. I am crossing my fingers that ESW from Let the Tide Pull Your Dreams Ashore will stop by so we can finally meet! I love being at Dede's house, so any chance to get there and I will show up.
Monday morning, we are hopping on the train and heading to NYC. I am lucky enough to have a table in the silent auction section at the Buoniconti Fund's Great Sports Legends Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria. Last year, this event was so fun and successful, hoping for the same. Staying with BFF Nicole and super excited to see her and her family.
Two weeks later, I will be at the Junior League of Jacksonville's Holiday Market, October 10-12th.
I am hoping my Mom will help me out with this one! I am also hoping that some old friends that live in Jacksonville will come see me.
The rest of my schedule is shaping up and I will publish it very soon.
My other big news is that after suffering with slightly blurry vision for a while thinking it was just me needing a new eyeglass prescription, I finally went to the eye doctor and it looks like I have cataracts in my left eye. I couldn't have been more shocked. My appointment with the specialist is tomorrow morning and I am super nervous. I spent my whole childhood wearing glasses and waiting in the eye doctor's waiting room, so it is not my favorite doctor to visit, Will let you know how it goes.
WIll finally be able to see,
