Last night I went to see Madonna for probably the eighth time in my life. It was amazing, as usual. Even though she came out 2 hours and 20 minutes late, she didn't disappoint with her boundless energy and elaborate stage presence. Hard to believe she is 57!!!
My seats were so far up, it was ridiculous. Zaria and I happened upon these tickets last week and I did t even check where they were-a serious fan I consider myself that it didn't matter as long as I got to see her.
She sounded great and her set list was a mix of new from Rebel Heart and seriously old songs from the beginning.
She never stopped moving. Even in sky high heels, she ran and danced around the stage. It was quite impressive.
We moved our seats so many times so we could see better. I texted my friend Joey, who I knew was down on the floor and asked him to send me a pic
His view was much better!
She talked a bunch throughout the show. At one point asking everyone to turn in their phone flashlights. It was so cool.
At one point, her daughter Mercy joined the stage and was dancing with everyone. It was her 10th birthday and then everyone sang Happy Birthday to her. It was sweet.
Singing La Vie En Rose with a ukelele..it was amazing.
The most outrageous part of the show, and there were may outrageous parts was when these dancers hopped up on these sticks and started swinging around. I seriously could not believe what I was seeing. Here is a video of another show where they perform this..it gets really good after 2:00
I would so recommend seeing her in concert at least once, it is really something to see!
Forever a Material Girl fan,
