One Kings Lane has a feature about fringe and starts it off with this picture from Tory Burch's home, so beautiful.  This amazing table with the bullion fringe.

Bullion fringe is a decorative trim made of twisted thread.  It is popular on sofas, chairs, tablecloths and ottomans. It is also used to make epaulettes, most often seen on soldiers uniforms.  The placement, color and width of the bullion fringe signified an officer's rank.
Scarlett O'Hara's famous dress in Gone With the Wind had bullion fringe in her head piece, a likely trim to the curtains at Tara.

Some do-it-your-selfers get their glue out and attach this pretty trim on themselves.  If you have the right tools, it is simple and bullion trim can be found at any trimmings store.

Designers love to use this thick trim, it pops up all the time...

Now that I am so aware of it, I keep seeing it everywhere!

Loving all sorts of trim,
