Nancy Reagan and More...

My big post on Destination Fashion isn't quite ready, look for it tomorrow....

The big news over the weekend was the passing of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.  She was the First Lady during my elementary school/junior high years.  I remember thinking she was always so well dressed and elegant.

Who could forget her Just Say No To Drugs campaign..even appearing on Different Strokes to get her message out there.

Politics aside, she will be remembered for you fierce devotion and love for her husband Ronald Regean.  Their love story is one for the books.  The way they looked at each other was so sweet.  Their love was palpable.

They were always together, always leaning on each other or holding hands...

A prolific writer and apparently a doodler, many of his letters and drawings were published along the way...

The last public picture of Ronald Reagan.  In 1994, he revealed that he was suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.

and then when President Reagan passed away, this gut wrenching goodbye.  I remember crying my eyes out when this happened.

Rest in Peace Nancy Reagan..

In other news, Prince William and Kate went skiing and released pictures this morning after they returned home, angering the British media. It is impressive that they have been able to control their images, especially since Kate seems to be the official photographer!

I mean, their genes mixed together in am amazing way for George and Charlotte..they are perfect!

This weekend Netflix uploaded the new season of House of Cards...the weather was so beautiful in Miami and after a quick brunch, I was in front of my tv all Sunday..

and last night, the last episode ever of Downton Abbey.  It was so good!!!

Lots going on this weekend,
xoxo, kp
